According to the TIAA Institute (www.tiaainstitute.org/publication/millennials-and-money), the majority of American millenials report feeling anxious or stressed about their personal finances, with over one third reporting that they would not be able to come up with $2,000 in a month if they needed to. Financial literacy is a critical skill that too many young people around the world simply do not learn.
